As
we have discussed about webinars and its significance in our last blog, so in
this post we would consider different platforms for management of webinars. As
webinars are web-based seminars which is broadcasted over the web through
deployment of various video conferencing platforms.
A
webinar is a live web-based video conferencing system that utilizes the
internet for connecting the host of the webinar with an audience–the viewers
and listeners of the webinar from all over the world. The hosts of the webinar
can show and organize themselves while speaking; they can also switch to their
computer screens for demonstrations or slideshows; and might even invite guests
from other locations to co-host the webinar with them. Several interactive
features are included in the webinar such as audience can ask questions or chat
with the host. In most of the webinars the question & answer sessions are
conducted at the end of the session for answering questions of the audience
members.
There
are different video platforms or software for administrating webinars such as
GoToWebinar, Webinars OnAir, WebinarJam, StealthSeminar, etc.
