MRCOG EXAMINATION: CANDIDATE INSTRUCTIONS

In our last post, we provided you some important stress busting tips that the candidates can follow before the examination.

Now, as only one week is left for the examination, today we will be discussing some important points that the candidate should keep in mind before and during the examination.

The candidates appearing for the exam should keep the following instructions in mind before entering the examination hall:

• The candidates should check their entrance ticket very carefully and note where and at what time you must attend the examination.

• Also, it is mandatory for the candidate should carry a photographic identification such as passport or hospital identification badge.

• Candidates should not carry any large amount of luggage to the examination venue as there is not enough space for the luggage.

• Candidates can carry light refreshments with them to the examination hall.

• Smartphones, smart watches and other electronic devices are not allowed into the examination hall, if carried; they should be switched off.

• Candidates are not allowed to enter the examination hall 30 minutes after the exam has started and they cannot leave the hall before 60 minutes after the start of the exam.

• The candidates will receive their result by mail 4 weeks from the date of the exam.

• Candidates who have just given either part 1 or part 2 are not issued certificates for passing the examination, because this is a 3-part examination. The letters regarding pass and fail will be provided for the Part 1 and Part 2 MRCOG. Certification will be provided after the Part 3 exam.
