Delay in RCOG exam.

Prestigious Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (RCOG) has decided to postpone the RCOG exams of all 3 parts i.e. MRCOG 1, MRCOG-2 and MRCOG-3 due to ongoing COVID19 pandemic. The delay in exam is due to center unavailability in written exam of approx. 5 hours (2.5 + 2.5 for paper 1 and paper 2) which includes a break in MRCOG-1. MRCOG-2 for 6 hours (3 + 3 for paper 1 and paper 2) and a break of 1 hour.

But now since the situation seems under no control, RCOG has decided to conduct the exam through computer-based test (CBT).
Present Exam schedule-
MRCOG-1: Sep 28’2020 (Previously July 6’2020)
MRCOG-2: Sep 29’2020 (Previously July 7’2020)
MRCOG-3: Oct 30-31’2020 (Previously 11-14 May’2020)

Due to continued global travel restrictions and social distancing guidelines, RCOG would not be able to safely deliver the exams scheduled for 26 September using traditional paper format. In reaction to the current global crisis, RCOGs quick move to bring forward the release of new Exams IT System to transition to computer-based testing. They have decided to partner with Pearson VUE to use their global network of test centers. In order to facilitate the exam in Pearson VUE test centers they have had to reschedule the exam for 28 September 2020 (MRCOG-1) and 29 September 2020 (MRCOG-2).
